Our family bathtub doubled as an outdoor pool on warm summer days on the farm. This shot was taken using the self-timer on my Brownie box camera (already loved photography) when I was 10. My thighs were already destined to be large.
GREAT shot, Mary! What a fantastic idea and what a wonderful way to share your passion with others! We are looking forward to updates, new photos...possibly words too, as you get to Blogging. Now, get Blogging! :)
I call this “Photo Journal of a Woman of Age” because it was the first thing that popped into my head when I started in 2007 and doesn’t make any promises about what may appear here. Age 60 is a fine place to be. I’ve heard the best thing about getting older is that you don’t lose all the other ages you’ve been. Sometimes I'm 12, other times 32, so try not to judge. Wisdom doesn’t necessarily come with age. Sometimes age just shows up all by itself.
Love the old photo of you. Would love to see a yearbook photo too! Maybe you can post one next time?
