And we're off....

We're off to chemo this morning, which means we should be headed for tent camping in the wilderness by 3 o'clock today. (We're trying to beat the Labor Day Holiday campers who should be arriving on the weekend as we're packing for home.)

My hope is that chemo won't be delayed today due to anemia.

This silly shot was taken at a neighborhood gathering last evening when a few of us came out to celebrate the quiet. Road construction has finally been completed! (I was downright embarrassed to meet many of our neighbors for the first time, though most of us have been here for several years.) I'm taking a few of these pina colada shots* to chemo with me today as a snack. 'See if I can get a rise out of the nurses.
