Eleven down, seven to go.

1) Fatigue. 2) Lack of energy.

The first two symptoms of anemia.

I wondered what happened to me this past week. Now I know. I am once again anemic as a side effect of chemo.*

That would explain why my legs felt like lead last night when Greg asked me to walk around the block with him.

It would also explain why I’ve been thinking more and more of hibernation as a viable alternative to life even though the cold weather has yet to arrive.

It’s always nice to have an explanation for feeling as though life’s an uphill battle.

*My anemia is not bad enough (yet) to be treated with $3,000 injections the day after each administration of chemotherapy. I’m kinda’ glad because the injections, as I recall, cause metallic taste, headache, and joint and muscle aches. I’m going for the hibernation!
